Costa Catterina
More than a century ago, the ancestor of Costa Catterina with the profound agricultural background, had moved in the village of Castagnito, in the region of Piemont, Roero territory, at the leftbank of Tanaro River.
The present owner, Antonio Coscia and his wife Antonella, wine professionals & environmentalists continue to produce the range of D.O.C.G and D.O.C characteristic wines of Roero & Langhe enthusiastically; for instance, 1) practice of spontaneous grassing for avoid washing out the soil, and 2) not using herbicides for parasites in their vineyard. Their effort is well recognized and awarded Certification from GREEN EXPERIENCE, also UNESCO world heritage.
