Deep garnet with crimson-vermillion rim, the fragrant nose reveals raspberry, redcurrant, red cherry and smoke, topped by hints of geranium. Fleshy and lively, the palate supplies cranberry, jammy strawberry, morello cherry and pomegranate, enriched by smoky vanilla. At 12.5%, this medium-bodied wine is lean and elegant in structure: the lively entry continues through a supple mid-palate, leading to a long finish. Whilst still sustained by juicy acidity and mellow tannins, this wine would better be enjoyed before too long.
