Piazzo – Barolo 2014
Vinification is to place the crushed grape in temperature control steel tank for maceration, fermentation at first stage; then the young wine evolves at least 18 months in big oak casks and also barrels. Finally, bottled wines are stored horizontally for aging in underground cellar for months.
Color is ruby red with garnet red highlights.
At the nose is for intense and complicated aroma with hints of fruit jam, nuts, floral and sweet spicy, come subtly with tobacco & tar.
Taste of full body wine with well balanced tannin and excellent bouquet.
Pairing with well seasoned red meat, game and spiced cheeses.
